This page is dedicated to tenants at HERBO. Here you will find important information relevant to tenants, as well as details about the services included in the rental agreements. Among other things, we offer free TV and Internet (with the option for more channels and higher speeds), the opportunity to rent a garage or workshop for free, as well as maintenance services to ensure that your living environment is safe and pleasant.
In addition, we provide information about the waste management system in Herøy and at HERBO, so you can be sure that you are following local guidelines. TV and Internet
All residents at HERBO receive TV and Internet included in their rent, Altibox provided by Signal.
The basic package includes the most important TV channels and offers an internet speed of 500/500 Mbps and 50 points for TV. This allows residents to enjoy entertainment and surf the web without extra costs. It is also possible to choose a 1000/1000 Mbps internet speed without TV, or 100/100 Mbps speed for internet and 100 points for TV. TV points can also be used for streaming services like Netflix. Channel selections and more can be managed on my page at signal.no.
This offer applies to all our residences except for Valsåsstubben 10a – 18d, which have internet with lower speeds and no TV included.
For those who want TV in multiple rooms, more channels, higher internet speeds, etc., there are options to upgrade services as needed. This allows all residents to customize their media experiences according to their preferences.
Rental of garage/workshop
All HERBO tenants and employees have the opportunity to rent the garage/workshop at Valsåsstubben for 3 hours at a time, completely free of charge.
The garage is available for rent Monday to Friday during these periods:
4:00 PM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM
It is only permitted to work on items one owns, e.g., only your own private car. Remember to sign in the logbook located in the garage. It is not allowed to let anyone other than tenants stay in the garage. The age limit for borrowing the garage is 18 years old.
To take advantage of this offer, book a time using the form below, which will then be confirmed by HERBO. A representative from HERBO will come and open the garage/workshop at the agreed time.
This is an excellent opportunity for tenants who need a place to work on a car, bicycle, or other items that need to be repaired or built.

Adjustment of rent
Herbo adjusts the rent annually based on the consumer price index. The adjustment takes place on January 1st each year. The consumer price index reflects the average price development of goods and services in Norway.
After the tenant has lived in our units for 3 years, and then every three years thereafter, the rent is adjusted to the market rate. By looking at the rent of the home you live in,"Our homes"you will see what the current rent for the property is.
You will receive a notice 6 months before your rent is adjusted to the market rate.

This is how the waste system works
In Herøy and at HERBO, all waste is recycled, which means you must sort your waste and dispose of it in the correct container.
Recycling
What you sort in your unit must also be thrown in the correct container outside the house. Depending on where you live, you may either have your own waste container, while others share one with several units.
Throw in the right container
Recycling is important for reusing the earth's resources, but using the waste system correctly also prevents us from polluting nature locally.
If a waste bin is full, do not place anything outside the bin. This can be taken by animals, birds, or the wind and spread into nature.

Little dot
Plastic packaging, empty plastic bottles
that have contained e.g.
ketchup and cleaning agents, sour cream and yogurt containers.
Dirty packaging shouldNOT go in this bag, this is thrown in residual waste.
Blue spotted
Cardboard, this is used for egg cartons, milk cartons, cereal boxes, and similar items.
Paper and cardboard must NOT go in this bag.
Green bag
Food waste, all clean waste from food. Such as vegetables, bread, tea bags, coffee filters, paper towels, and napkins.
Packaging around food must NOT go in this bag.
Handle pose or poses on a roll
Residual waste, anything that does not have another sorting should go in this bag.
Hazardous waste should NOT go in this bag. This should be delivered to the recycling station at Flostad.
